Daman has no public customer care phone number. Every “24/7 customer care” number you find on Google, YouTube, or Telegram is a scam.

Real Daman support exists only inside the app or website, as an async ticket form. Response time: 24–48 hours.

If you have already shared your OTP with a “customer care agent”: change your password immediately, log out from all devices (Settings → Security), and submit a support ticket from inside the app. Your account is at active risk.

How the scam works (the pattern)

  1. You search Google for “Daman customer care number,” frustrated about a stuck withdrawal or login issue.
  2. You find a results page with a 10-digit number and “Available 24/7” claim. Often on a fake-looking blog post that says it’s “official.”
  3. You call. Someone answers in < 10 seconds. (Suspiciously fast — real support never does this.)
  4. They identify your “issue” instantly without asking your account number, then ask for your OTP “to verify your account.”
  5. You give the OTP. They use it to log in to your account from their device.
  6. Your wallet is drained in < 60 seconds via UPI to an account you’ve never seen.

Variations of the same scam

  • “Install AnyDesk so we can fix your screen.” Lets them control your phone remotely. Refuse always.
  • “Pay ₹X to expedite your withdrawal.” Real support never asks for payment.
  • “Send a screenshot of your bank balance.” Recon for the actual account drain.
  • “Refund will be processed if you click this link.” Phishing link to a fake login page.

  1. Open the platform from your bookmark (not from a Google result).
  2. Log in.
  3. Go to Settings → Customer Service / Support.
  4. Pick the issue category. Submit a ticket with screenshots.
  5. You’ll get an in-app reply, usually within 24–48 hours.

What works

  • In-app ticket is auditable
  • Reply lands inside your authenticated account
  • Cannot leak OTPs or passwords this way
  • Free, no premium fees
  • Works for KYC, withdrawal, bonus, account issues

What doesn’t

  • No live chat
  • Slow (24–48h vs < 1 minute for the scam)
  • Cannot phone if you’re locked out
  • Cannot escalate easily
  • If your ticket is mishandled, your only option is to repeat it

What to do RIGHT NOW if you’ve been scammed

  1. Try to log into your Daman account immediately. If you can: change password, enable 2FA, log out all sessions.
  2. If you can’t log in: the scammer changed your password. Submit a support ticket via a friend’s account or via the public contact form. Subject: “Account compromised — urgent.”
  3. Contact your bank. Report any unauthorised UPI transactions immediately — banks have a 30-day window to reverse some types of fraud.
  4. File a cybercrime complaint. Report at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
  5. Do not pay anyone who contacts you afterwards offering to “recover” your money. That’s the second wave of the scam.

Is there ANY phone number for Daman support?

What about WhatsApp support?

Same answer. No official WhatsApp support exists. WhatsApp numbers claiming to be “Daman 24/7 support” are scams.

Change your password immediately, log out all sessions (Settings → Security), submit an in-app ticket with subject “Account compromised — urgent,” and report any UPI fraud to your bank within 24 hours.

Can I get my money back from a scammer?

Sometimes — if you contact your bank within 24–48 hours and the UPI transaction can be reversed. After that, recovery is rare. File a cybercrime complaint regardless.

How do real Daman support tickets compare?
